About

Welcome to my blog!

I created this little space as a way to share and document the things I love and do.pam-evangeline-1

2007 was a breakthrough year for me. I started blogging “seriously”, co-founding a blog called “Exolimpo” with my then-boyfriend (now husband), and posted news about anime and cosplay galleries, mostly. A couple of years later, I started my own blog (in Spanish) where I’d write about my cosplay progress, future projects, and review products like wigs and contact lenses.

That year I also started to learn how to sew with a sewing machine and draft patterns. My dearest aunt taught me the basics, and I just went front there learning more sewing techniques by myself, reading books and Pinterest posts, and watching tutorials on Youtube.

My hard work eventually paid off,  getting featured in cosplay magazines and websites, giving interviews for the local newspaper and a TV show, and being invited as a guest and judge in conventions around my area.

There was a time, though, when I stopped focusing on cosplay to work for a software developing company and pursue other interests. One of them was fashion, to be more specific, an alternative fashion movement called Lolita Fashion. I’ve got so into it, that I currently have more than 40 pieces of Lolita clothing.

Other things I love: taking photographs and upload them to my Instagram. Reading a book while drinking a hot cup of tea. Taking a nap on a rainy day. Going to the movies or watch them at home (thank you, Netflix!). Going out with my friends to get coffee. Indulge myself with Mexican snacks. Travel to new places. Playing video games for hours. Collecting figures and dolls. Buy fabrics and materials for costumes. Having any meal with my husband. Cooking for my friends and family. Spending the afternoons with my dogs. Having a nice manicure. Shoes, especially boots. The beach.
